EcoMod resident fellows at the Department of Applied Economics of the Free University of Brussels are currently building a multisectoral dynamic regional model for Belgium. The model covers all three regions: Brussels, Flanders, and Wallonia. The model is a bottom-up type general equilibrium model which takes into account all the institutional details in which the Belgian economy operates. The model will be used for policy analysis and sectoral forecasting.
