Goal

The goal of the conference is to promote and stimulate the exchange of ideas in the field of economic modeling techniques applied to regional and urban issues.

Conference Venue

The conference will take place at the Solbosch campus of the Free University of Brussels (ULB, Université libre de Bruxelles).  The conference rooms are in the building H (see map).

The registration fee (350 euros until March 31, 2007, and 400 euros after April 1, 2007) includes:

Please note that the fee for accompanying persons does not include admission to the scientific sessions, coffee and lunch, or any Congress or Meeting documentation.

Invitations/Visa Letters
EcoMod is happy to provide official invitation letters to paid conference attendees. To request an invitation letter for yourself or a guest, you must complete the registration form and pay in full the registration fee.

Registration cancellation policy

All registration cancellations must be received in writing via email to Suat.Sisik@ecomod.net by the dates listed below.

For cancellation requests received before April 30, 2007, full refund will be provided minus 30 Euros for administrative charges.

For cancellation requests received between May 1 and May 15, 2007, a refund of 50% will be provided.

No refund will be given for cancellation requests received after May 15, 2007.

No-shows are subject to the full registration fee.

Refunds will be issued within 30 business days after the conference concludes.

Conference substitution policy
Substitutions for the conference will be allowed at any time. Please contact Suat.Sisik@ecomod.net to request a transfer/substitution.

The participants need to make their own hotel reservation.

Hotels offering discounts for the conference (prices are in euros, for single rooms, per night, and including taxes, services, and breakfast):

If you want to benefit from the special conference prices, your room should be reserved before April 30, 2007. After that date, reservations will be subject to the availability of the hotels.

Publication

All the papers presented at the conference will be published on a CD-ROM by the EcoMod Press in the conference proceedings. The papers will also be posted in PDF format on the conference web site. The copyright stays with authors so that they can publish the paper in any other formats.
