EcoMod2009

International Conference on Policy Modeling

Ottawa, Canada, June 24-26, 2009

 

Goal and Topics

The goal of the conference is to promote the exchange of ideas among economists conducting quantitative analysis for policy and decision-making in the public and private sector.

 

The conference is jointly organized by by the Department of Economics and the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ottawa, and EcoMod Network.

Paper submissions

You are cordially invited to submit your extended abstracts or full papers (preferred) on the conference management Web site before January 31, 2009.

 

Your extended abstract should have the following content:

(1) Rationale and objectives
(2) Modeling approach, methodology
(3) Studied country/region/city (if applicable)
(4) Expected results and discussion

 

Important dates

January 31, 2009: Deadline for the submission of the abstract.
February 28, 2009: Notification of the Program Committee decisions.
May 1st, 2009: Deadline for uploading the full version of the accepted papers in PDF format.

 

Conference venue

The conference will take place at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ottawa.

 

Publication

All the papers presented at the conference will be published on a CD-ROM by the EcoMod Press in the conference proceedings. The papers will also be posted in PDF format on the conference web site. The copyright stays with authors so that they can publish the paper in any other formats.
