Conference Venue The conference will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. It has been voted one of the ten best architectural structures in Hong Kong with the world's tallest glass wall which opens onto fantastic vistas of Hong Kong's famed harbor. Confirmation of your registration will be sent after receipt of payment. Invitations/Visa Letters EcoMod is happy to provide official invitation letters to paid conference attendees. To request an invitation letter for yourself or a guest, you must complete the registration form and pay in full the registration fee. Registration cancellation policy
All registration cancellations must be received in writing via email to frederic.dramais@ecomod.net by the dates listed below.
For cancellation requests received before May 28, 2006, full refund will be provided minus $30 USD for administrative charges.
For cancellation requests received between May 29 and June 14, 2006, a refund of 50% will be provided.
No refund will be given for cancellation requests received after June 14, 2006.
No-shows are subject to the full registration fee.
Refunds will be issued within 30 business days after the conference concludes.
Conference substitution policy Substitutions for the conference will be allowed at any time. Please contact frederic.dramais@ecomod.net to request a transfer/substitution. Hotel Reservation The participants need to make their own hotel reservation. The following hotels are close to the conference venue. Please click the link for detailed information about the hotel and online reservations. The registrant is responsible for canceling or changing travel and hotel reservations. Software Training In conjunction with the conference, an intensive one-day course will be organized on modeling with GAMS on June 27, 2006. The General Algebraic Modeling System (GAMS) is a high-level modeling system for mathematical programming problems. GAMS is tailored for complex, large scale modeling applications. Download registration form. Publication All the papers presented at the conference will be published on a CD-ROM by the EcoMod Network in the conference proceedings. The papers will also be posted in PDF format on the conference web site. The copyright stays with authors so that they can publish the paper in any other formats.
