The Summer School 2000 was the first course organized by the EcoMod Network. The School has been a great success! 19 participants from all over the world and institutions (universities, central banks, research institutes, ministries, international institutions) followed the course. The School was highly intensive. It was quite usual to see the participants work until late midnight, or even until 4am in some cases. It was a great pleasure to see the highly dynamic group and feel the energy in the computer lab. In spite of the extreme intensity of the course, many of them promised to be back next year for the advanced course.

The next Summer School will take place in July 2002. During the Summer School 2002 EcoMod will organize three intensive courses:

	practical general equilibrium modeling
	advanced general equilibrium economic modeling
	quarterly dynamic macroeconometric modeling
